For context, earlier, a 1-minute footage found its way online, featuring a teenage boy, identified as James Denison apprehended from a Meijer store in Ohio. Although, the footage is of March 2024, it recently found its way online, wherein a manager of the store accused the teenager of consuming food worth $110 in last three months, without paying a single penny.
Following the video found its way online, netizens took their anger towards the Meijer store, emphasizing that the teenager is disabled. Upon learning the alleged fact, the netizens seem to be taking their fury to the store chain, as they are demanding the removal of the Meijer store, located at Seven Hills, Ohio, manager identified as Joseph Kolacsky.

Who is Joseph Kolacsky?
While, at the time of writing this piece, we don’t have much information about Joseph Kolacsky, however, media reports claim that the manager of the grocery store at Seven Hills was on LinkedIn. After the video emerged online and he became the subject of netizens’ anger and fury, the manager subsequently deleted his profile and has chose to stay silent on the backlash and trolling that he is receiving.
Though, his profile has been deleted on the platform, screenshots that are going viral across the internet, reveal him to be the “Executive dual store leader at Giant Eagle.”
Additionally, they also reveal that Kolacsky, who hails from Massillon, Ohio, has been working since the past 25 years in multiple roles in the fuel and grocery industries, and he is currently responsible for directing and supervising 400 team members and at least 50 team leaders. The viral screenshot has so far, received more than 2K views.

Earlier, on August 21, 2025, the grocery chain took to their Facebook and released a statement, as they stated that they agree the situation could’ve been “handled differently,” while asserting that such an incident won’t happen again.
