The suspect reportedly opened fire on officers from a cornfield before himself getting shot dead.
Matthew killed three Pennsylvania cops from the same police department and was wanted for stalking his ex-girlfriend whose truck he had burned on 20 August. The two had broken up long back and his unidentified ex-girlfriend was living with her mother.
Matthew killed his ex-girlfriend’s black Labrador before killing three police officers after she reported him to cops for staking out her home in camo gear with binoculars in North Codorus Township. Northern York County Regional Police Officers Mark Baker, Cody Becker and Isaiah Emenheiser were shot dead by Matthew with his AR-15 style rifle before Matthew turned his weapon on a deputy sherif and the other police officer in exchange that lasted 2 minutes and included 30 shots.
