What Exactly Happened?

As per the viral clip, Kobel was seen holding his pet dog when the Uber driver came suddenly and headbutted him. The culprit, who is identified Vadim Uliumdzhiev, seemingly slapped the passenger in his face and then knocked him out before driving his vehicle away.

Nearby people can be seen recording his number plate as the driver drive away his car. Meanwhile, a woman who seemed to be watching the entire scenario unfolding, tries to touch and talk to Kobel, as the video ends.

The video was Charleston, SC show Bryan Kobel assaulted by an illegal Russian Uber driver while holding his 17 pound service dog. Kobel suffered a concussion, amnesia and head lacerations needing staples while Vadim Uliumdzhiev, 42, was arrested and later transferred to ICE custody.

Kobel is now suing Uber, warning of major rider safety gaps. The video is from earlier in April of this year.

Who is Bryan Kobel?

Although, we don’t have much information about age 45 Bryan Kobel, however, media reports claim that the victim is the CEO of a biotech firm. Meanwhile, his LinkedIn profile also reveals that he is the Chief Executive Officer of TC BioPharm, a role which he took in June 2021.

Before joining TCBP, Bryan Kobel was serving as a Board Observer for TCBP, a role he took in December 2020, and served for 4 years and 9 months. Before that he was serving as the Managing Director for EF Hutton for at least 11 months, and the Alberleen Group, wherein he worked as the Managing Director as well for at least 2 years and 5 months.

As per his LinkedIn, the CEO of the biotech firm completed his degree from Franklin and Marshall College. Though, it isn’t specified that in which stream the CEO did his graduation, however, he completed it in 2002.

Following the recent altercation with the cab driver, Bryan Kobel sent a legal notice the cab driver’s way, as reports emerged revealing that the CEO of the biotech firm is suing the Uber driver, who is allegedly an illegal Russian driver.

A video of the incident captioned, “Illegal from Russia, who drives for Uber, assaulted a Biotech CEO in April in downtown Charleston, South Carolina” has gone viral. The 16-second video has so far, received more than 2 million views and 21K likes.
