Earlier, social media platforms, especially, X/Twitter, Instagram, and Reddit, had been buzzing with a viral video of Anjali Krishna, a DSP from Maharashtra, featuring her having a heated conversation with Ajit Pawar, who can be heard threatening the officer on duty.

What Exactly Happened?
As aforesaid, the police official had a heated argument with Ajit Pawar, who can be heard threatening her over the call, when Anjali Krishna was taking action against an illegal soil excavation in a village.
The conversation turned into an argument, when the police official denied recognising the voice of the Depty CM, and asked him to call her directly on her number.
The unfortunate incident happened when Anjali Krishna went to a village to inspect and investigate an illegal mining/excavation of red soil, which is allegedly linked to a road construction project in Karmala village.
A video of the incident has now taken over the internet, as people are hailing Anjali Krishna, as “an honest officer.”

The 1-minute 20-second viral video features the official having a phone conversation allegedly with Ajit Pawar. Reportedly, the phone call began when NCP leader, Jagtap asked the DSP to stop the action immediately and when she didn’t follow his request, he directly called Ajit Pawar and handed over the call to her.
In the viral video, Anjali can be heard having a conversation with someone, who allegedly identified himself as ‘Deputy CM Ajit Pawar,’ while threatening the official as he can be heard saying, “I’ll take action against you.” Let’s dig into more details about her.
Who is Anjali Krishna?
Media reports revealed that the Deputy Superintendent of Police hails from Kerala.
Anjali is an officer of the 2022-2023 UPSC Civil Services batch, who currently serves as the DSP at Karmala, Solapur.
Anjali’s father runs a business in Thiruvananthapuram, while her mother works in a local court as a typist.
Growing up in Thiruvananthapuram, she went to the St. Mary Central School. For her higher studies, Krishna went to HHMSPB NSS College for Women and completed a BSc degree in Mathematics.
During her UPSC CSE exam, Anjali earned the 355th All India rank in 2022. Krishna’s father Biju runs a business in Thiruvananthapuram and her mother Seena works as a typist in a local court.
Ms Krishna is currently posted as Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in Karmala, Solapur and is a part of the 2023 IPS batch.
