Bulandshahr police have recently taken action against popular content creator Arpit Sharma after a complaint filed by Aslam Malik. According to the complaint, Sharma deliberately spread statements capable of triggering national unrest. Malik argued that Sharma’s remarks caused “anger in the general public,” which posed a clear risk to India’s sovereignty. Following the complaint, police registered a case against Arpit under Section 152 of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS), which covers acts endangering national unity. According to the Superintendent of Police (City), Shanker Prasad, Sharma made references to Nepal’s protests and suggested that India could also face similar chaos.
