Kairan Quazi has officially announced his move from SpaceX to Citadel Securities in August 2025. He previously worked on critical Starlink systems at SpaceX, and at Citadel, he will now focus on engineering and quantitative analysis. Kairan will work on building Citadel’s powerful trading infrastructure. Kairan Quazi is an American teenage tech prodigy who was born in 2009, and he was born to Bangladeshi-American parents in California. From a very young age, Kairan Quazi showed extraordinary talents, and by age nine, he had already jumped from third grade to college. Quazi was also exposed to both technology and finance during his early years, which shaped his broad interests. Now, he is currently 16-years-old and lives independently in New York.

Kairan Quazi was born to parents Jullia, a Wall Street professional, and Mustahid Quazi, a chemical engineer. He now joins Citadel Securities, a global trading firm handling about 35% of US retail stock trades, as a quantitative developer.
