The 17-year-old suspect has been arrested after three people were shot in New York City’s Times Square in the early hours of Saturday but the teenager has not been named by police.
The boy has now been charged with murder for shooting his intended target, along with intended murder, assault, reckless endangerment, and weapons offenses.
The shooter and the 19-year-old victim got into an argument and the teen suspect pulled out a gun and shot his intended target, the 19-year-old, then two innocent bystanders.
A police spokesperson said: “All the injured were taken to Bellevue Hospital and are in stable condition. The perpetrator was engaged in a verbal dispute prior to the shooting with one of the victims. He has been taken into custody and a firearm was also recovered. He has not been charged yet.”

For the addled, reportedly, three people have been injured in the horrific shooting incident in NYC’s time square. The horrific shooting that injured multiple people reportedly occurred following the escalation of an argument between two individuals.
As per multiple media reports, three people were found injured in the aftermath of the incident. The victims were identified as a 19-year-old man, a 65-year-old man, and an 18-year-old woman, who reportedly suffered injuries to their right leg, left leg and a gunshot wound at their neck respectively.
The shooting incident occurred nearby Hard Rock Café at the Time Square between the 7th Avenue and the 44th Street. Reportedly, the victims of the incident were rushed to Bellevue Hospital and currently, they are in stable condition. The clips of the incident has now gone viral across social media platforms, leaving netizens in frenzy.

What Did the Viral Video Feature?
The now-viral videos of the incident feature a crowd of people fleeing outside the Hard Rock Café, after they heard gunshots in the area. Reportedly, a car can be seen pulling over to the side of café. The witnesses at the scene alleged that they saw the bullet holes in the car window.
One witness of the horrific incident, took to X/Twitter as he shared the video of the incident on social media site. The viral video features emergency personnel tending to the victims, who were lying on the ground after being shot.

The now-viral post’s caption revealed that the 3 people were shot at the “heart of the times square. Bodies are on the ground, bullet holes pierce car windows.” While another video features people running around trying to flee the Town Square after hearing gunshots.
Earlier, the NYPD have identified a 17-year-old as the suspect in the case and arrested him and a firearm had been discovered at the scene.
