After the alleged video went viral, the police officer, who is identified as Marcin Zielinski, has been jailed for 4 months. The said event of home search took place in September, 2024.
The CCTV clip from last year features the Hertfordshire police official slipping the women’s panties in his back pocket while doing a home search. As per media reports, the 27-year-old police officer conducted the Section 32 search at her place and slipped the panties in his pocket before taking his leave after he went through her drawers.
The woman, whose identity has been revealed as Lea-Ann Sullivan, a mother of two, shared the footage online on Monday, sparking widespread debate and fury online. After the video went viral across internet, the police officer was sentenced to jail for 4 months, while being charged for the corrupt and improper use of powers and privileges granted to an official.

Who is Marcin Zielinski?
While not much is known about him, however, reports reveal that Marcin Zielinski was a police officer in Hertfordshire, and is aged 27. After the official was jailed, an assistant chief constable of the Hertfordshire Constabulary came forward and gave a statement.
As per the statement given by the assistant chief constable, Genna Telfer, the official has “let down the public of Hertfordshire,” while asserting that Zielinski’s criminal behavior has damaged the “reputation of policing and represents a fundamental betrayal of the public and the values for which the police service stands.”
Marcin Zielinski, aged 27, from Shefford, Bedfordshire, was given a four-month prison sentence at the Cambridge Crown Court.
Marcin Zielinski a Hertfordshire Constabulary police officer was caught on ring doorbell footage stealing Lea-Ann’s underwear during a visit to her property on September 12, 2024 and he admitted to one charge of theft and a charge of improper exercise of police powers.
Lea-Ann said the ordeal left her suffering sleepless nights and months of emotional distress.
The victim’s autistic daughter has also been left emotionally traumatized by the incident and is so scared of police that she is reluctant to ever call them if she gets in trouble.
Zielinski had resigned from the force back in November 2024.
What Did the Victim Say?
The victim earlier stated that after witnessing the CCTV footage, she felt so “violated,” by the incident that she threw all her panties and the chest of drawers, which become a constant reminder of the clip.
Meanwhile, media reports reveals that on the night of search event, the woman was arrested over an unrelated matter, however, she was later released without any charges. When she was under arrest, her partner allegedly came across the footage and was shocked over the tragic and bizarre act done by the official.
