As of now, the FBI also remains tight-lipped about the situation, releasing no official statement about his personal relationships but many claim that Tyler and Lance were dating for one year with a relative of Twiggs saying that he is Robinson’s boyfriend. “They did live together,” the family member said, adding, “ I knew he had a boyfriend. I never met him. None of us had.”
A neighbor of Tyler has meanwhile also come out saying he saw Tyler and Lance together holding hands and kissing to all but confirm the two were dating.
Twiggs was in the process of transitioning from male to female and the 22-year-old is an aspiring professional gamer and was living with Tyler Robinson as a roommate. Twiggs comes from a conservative Christian family in Utah and is transitioning from male to female.

Media outlets have since investigated Twiggs’ background, his online activity, and speculation about his identity.
Lance Twiggs’s alleged relationship with Tyler Robinson
Following the investigations around Tyler, there have been strong reports that the pair were in a live-in relationship. Lance Twiggs reportedly shared a three-bedroom apartment at the Fossil Hills complex with Robinson and another roommate. While relatives also confirmed that Twiggs and Robinson were roommates, they denied any knowledge of a romantic involvement.
Upon inquiry, Twiggs’ grandfather shared that he couldn’t confirm if Twiggs was transgender and avoided any speculation about any link between identity and motive. Another relative also called Twiggs the “black sheep” of the family and admitted that she wouldn’t be surprised if he were transitioning.

Lance Twiggs biography and age
Lance Twiggs from St. George, Utah is the former roommate of Charlie Kirk shooter Tyler Robinson, who is currently at the center of investigations. Twiggs is presently just 22 years old, and he has largely kept a low profile outside of gaming circles and social media. According to neighbors, both Twiggs and Robinson were “reclusive,” and they added that they never saw signs that Twiggs was transgender. Police reportedly questioned Twiggs right after the shooting, and he has since become a focus of media attention after his connection to Robinson surfaced.
Lance is the son of Tyler and Amy Twiggs and has a brother as well with the family being a Conservative Christian one from Utah. Twiggs was raised in a Mormon family but was allegedly expelled from his family home after refusing religious spiritual help. Apparently, the house where Robinson and Twiggs lived belonged to the Twiggs’ family.
Twiggs has also been described as a furry online owing to Tyler’s furry fixation as seen by the engraving found on the side of the casing of his rifle which read “Notices bulge OwO what’s this?” which is a meme that is widely used in both pro-transgender s*x and furry subcultures.

Furry is part of the furry subculture, which is described as having a s*xual interest in anthropomorphic animal characters who are animals with human traits with people who associate with them called furries.
Twiggs has been described as furry and Tyler’s ‘notices bulge” is a reference to male s*x organs and is used in both furry and trans circles.
An account on the website FurAffinity.net, which has se*xualized images of cartoon animal characters, features an account name matching one that Robinson used on his gaming and online accounts.

Lance Twiggs reportedly attended Utah Tech University, which is located near Robinson’s college with the two meeting during Tyler’s time there.
Tyler Robinson was studying to be an electrician at a nearby technical college and was enrolled as a third-year student in the school’s electrical apprenticeship program, and while his academic path was technical, he had more interests toward digital and gaming culture.

As of now, Lance Twiggs has not established a formal career, but he is reportedly an “aspiring gamer.” His TikTok bio states:

Online users recently uncovered the TikTok and Instagram accounts believed to belong to Lance Twiggs. While his TikTok bio reads, “becoming TikTok pros one terrible video at a time,” the Instagram bio jokingly states, “Friendly neighborhood licensed fish finder.”
Notably, the phrase “fish” is often used as slang within LGBTQ+ spaces to describe femininity, fuelling further speculation about Twiggs’ identity. However, there is no verified link between the bio and Twiggs’ gender identity as of now.
Aside from Lance’s social media accounts, several family-linked social media accounts have been set to private or deleted, including one account believed to belong to Twiggs’ mother. As the case attracts further attention nationwide, Twiggs’ name and profiles have become the subject of many online debates, with some internet users dissecting both his bios and past posts.
Twiggs was also active under the username “fluxalotl” on Steam and in December 2024, Twiggs changed his Steam display name from “Lance” to “Luna”.
Reddit also has connected usernames associated with Twiggs to discussions in transgender-focused forums as an account, “lancelott3” which carried the display name “flux” and shared personal details that aligned with Twiggs’s biography.
Lance Twiggs, 22, an aspiring pro gamer and Robinson’s roommate also made a comment on a 2022 Reddit post stating, “We are riding with Biden on this glorious subreddit.”
