Earlier, social media platforms were buzzing with a claim that nearly 30 gunshots were heard in Gurgaon aka Gurugram on Sunday, targeting the residence of internet personality Elvish Yadav. Hours after the incident, members of the Himanshu Bhau gang came forward as they took the responsibility for the attack.

Neeraj Faridpur and Bhau Ritoliya of the Himanshu Bhau gang have claimed responsibility for the attack in an Instagram post which accused Yadav of ruining many houses by promoting betting apps and issued a warning for influencers.
“…The bullets that were fired at Elvish Yadav’s house today were fired by us. He has ruined many houses by promoting betting apps. Other social media influencers promoting betting may face bullets or calls,” read the post attributed to Ritoliya.
CCTV footage from the area showed two bike-borne men arriving outside the house in Sector 57 of Gurugram and opening fire as one of them can also been seen leaning over the main gate and continuing to shoot after a few seconds. The masked attackers fled the scene after shooting more than two dozen rounds into the ground and first floor of the house and Yadav was not at home when the incident took place around 5:30 am on Sunday.

What Did Himanshu Bhau Gang Say?
As per a statement given by the Himanshu Bhau gang, they carried out this horrendous act, as they claimed various households were destroyed because of the influencer’s promotion of gambling.
For the unsure, the Himanshu Bhau Gang is active across North India, and is led by Himanshu Bhau, as the name suggests itself. Though, as of now, there isn’t much known about the man, however, police officials reveals that he is charged in over 30 cases involving murder and other heinous crimes.

Himanshu Bhau is a 21-year-old gangster who has earned the moniker Chhota Don of Delhi and his gang is responsible for many attacks in both Delhi and Haryana recently.
As aforesaid, there isn’t much known about the gangster, however, media reports reveal that Himanshu ran to Dubai in 2018. While the man was still in teens years, he ran away from a juvenile correctional home. Soon after his escape from correctional home, he created his own gang, participating in a wide range of criminal activities.
Later, he got his hands on a fake passport and fled India via Portugal to the United States. Ever since then, Interpol has issued a Red Notice against Himanshu Bhau. His gang now does any sort of criminal act from extortion to attempt murder to gun running, contract killings, and smuggling of contraband. His gang is reportedly more proactive in Northern part of India.
Back in March 2024, his gang was involved in a shooting targeting a liquor shop owner in Panipat. Two-months later, they involved themselves in another firing incident at a car showroom in Tilak Nagar, Delhi.
Earlier, in July 2025, the Himanshu Bhau Gang involved themselves in demanding extortion money from a Delhi Police head constable. Now, a few days after the extortion incident, they have involved themselves in Elvish Yadav’s residence shooting incident.

Their signature mark, “Bhau Gang Since 2020,” has been found at crime scenes and the gang is lead by Himanshu Bhau who is believed to have fled India via Portugal to the United States after an Interpol Red Corner Notice was issued against him.
The Himanshu Bhau gang targets business owners, property dealers, and public figures for extortion money.
What Exactly Happened?
As per a CCTV footage, which is making rounds online, on Sunday, at around 5.30 a.m. the gunshots were fired at Yadav’s residence. Though, at the time of incident, the social media personality wasn’t present at his home. As per counts given by Gurugram police, “More than a dozen rounds were fired.”
Later, via a social media post, Bhau Ritoliya, claimed the responsibility for the attack. As per the viral post, the firing was done by “NEERAJ FARIDPUR and BHAU RITOLIYA.”
