Security guard Emani Ellis suing Cardi B for $24 Million
A security guard named Emani Ellis filed a civil lawsuit against Cardi B in 2020. In her lawsuit, Ellis accuses the star of cutting her cheek with a fingernail, spitting on her, and using racial slurs. Ellis shared how Cardi B attacked her after mistakenly believing that Ellis was recording her during a private OB-GYN visit while the rapper was pregnant. She claimed that the whole ordeal caused emotional trauma and led to her losing her job. The lawsuit seeks $24 million in damages for physical and psychological harm.

Despite the allegations, Cardi B argues that there was no physical contact and that Ellis was the instigator. As of now, the closing arguments are scheduled to take place very soon, with jurors set to decide on the case.
