Aaron Spencer is an Arkansas man who announced his candidacy for sheriff in Lonoke County, Arkansas, after previously making headlines for taking justice into his own hands last year. In his campaign video, Spencer declared:

Aaron Spencer kills daughter’s r*pist

Back in 2024, Aron Spencer allegedly shot a 67-year-old man named Michael Fosler, who had been charged with grooming and s*xually abusing his 14-year-old daughter. According to authorities, Spencer began searching for his daughter after she went missing and eventually found Fosler driving away with his daughter. Aaron pursued the vehicle and forced it off the road before he fatally shot Fosler. Spencer told investigators that he acted out of desperation after learning that Fosler had been released on bond despite facing over 40 child s*x crime charges.

Charges

Prosecutors have charged Aaron Spencer with second-degree murder, but he insists that he did what any father would have done, despite facing trial. Meanwhile, his wife, Heather, launched an online fundraiser, calling the charges “outrageous” and labeling her husband a hero, stating:

“The monster who hurt our child was charged quickly, but released even faster on a $50,000 bond. Our daughter would not have come home if my husband hadn’t found her.”

Spencer is now scheduled for a pre-trial hearing later this year on December 16, with his trial set for January 26, 2026.
