Despite the arrest, Zinn was later released upon questioning, with the police continuing the search for the actual gunman. He was not the only one taken in for questioning though with Zachariah Ahmed Qureshi being questioned as well before being released after no connection was found to the shooting. As per officials, footage has surfaced of the shooter who is believed to have fled into a neighborhood after the shooting with his rifle recovered as well.
