His comments notably singled out FaZe co-founder Thomas “Temperrr” Oliveira, who has since posted two videos denying s*xual misconduct allegations. FaZe Clan has meanwhile since released a list of its official members, disassociating itself from both Rain and Temperr.

FaZe Clan is a U.S.-based esports and entertainment organization, founded in 2010, that initially started out as a group of gamers posting Call of Duty trick-shot videos on YouTube.
The group has since blown up into one of the biggest names in gaming, lifestyle, and internet culture.
The recent controversy drama started after comments made by Rain during a livestream on September 14, claiming the reason why he left FaZe Clan back in April 2024 was because of an alleged pedophile situation within the organisation as he said, “Part of the reason I left FaZe was because of it. I couldn’t be side by side who did something like that. I wanted to speak but just felt so f**king bad, and eventually I just couldn’t take it anymore.”
Temperr meanwhile denied the accusations of s*xual misconduct made against him, calling them insane and saying that he was disgusted and also accused Rain of trying to blackmail him.
Rain accuses FaZe Clan of harbouring a pedophile while on stream
Former FaZe Clan member Rain recently shocked viewers during his September 14 Twitch stream when he revealed the real reason that he left FaZe Clan. During his live stream, he shared:
“I wasn’t even pushed, I left. There was a fking pedophile involved too. I don’t give a fk if I get sued, I’ll stand out for what is right. That was the final straw,” Rain declared.
He added that the situation had haunted him for years: “I’ve been fked up by that pedo st for two years, and I’ve not said nothing about it.”
In response, FaZe Banks quickly denied being the subject of Rain’s claims and clarified that Rain was pointing to Temperrr. Rain later confirmed this directly on his stream, and the duo even went live together to unpack all of the allegations.

Temperrr denies s*xual misconduct allegations
Following the allegations against him, Temperrr quickly addressed the controversy in two separate videos on September 14. In his first statement, he called the accusations “disgusting” and stated how he felt betrayed by Rain. He stated:
“This allegation of me being called a pedophile is f**king insane. Anybody who knows me knows I am not a pedophile or anything close to that—including Nordan himself.”
However, fans quickly noticed how he dodged key details, forcing him to release a second, longer video just hours later. In this video, Temperrr admitted to a s*xual encounter with a 17-year-old in New York several years ago, where the age of consent is 17. He claimed that he didn’t know her age at the time but later felt sick to my stomach after finding out. Temperrr then explained that the incident happened during a low point in his life, following a breakup with his now-wife.
Rain’s response to Temperrr
After watching Temperrr’s clarifications live on Twitch, Rain was still not convinced and argued against Temperrr’s excuse of saying, “I didn’t know her age.” He stated:
“When he told me and Banks about this, he never mentioned knowing she was underage. He had two opportunities to tell me—that first time, and then later on a call with Apex and Banks. He didn’t say it.”
Rain claimed that Temperrr was shifting his story to protect himself, stating:
“If he had kept pushing that point that he didn’t know, I wouldn’t do that [share it publicly]. But he didn’t. I feel like he’s saying it now because he knows it gets him out of it. I’m just being real.”
As of now, both men are firm on their decisions, and the fallout shows no signs of dying down.
