As per reports, the two boxers are set to face off against each other in the boxing ring in spring 2026. The duo has reportedly signed a deal to clash next year.
Although, at the time of writing this piece, there isn’t any update about the venue or an exact date for the fight, however, as per reports, the two retired professional boxers will be seen in action next year.
This bout against Floyd Mayweather, will mark Tyson’s return in the ring after his defeat to Jake Paul, last year.
Though not much information is available about the bout, as it is still in the initial terms and media reports claim that the details about the bout are still being finalised but both fighters have signed their contracts but further details about the purse and payouts aren’t known.
Both of the fighters were amongst the best and most successful boxers of their time.

Mike Tyson’s Last Appearance
Mike Tyson holds a 50-7 overall record, out of which 44 victories he bagged by knocking out the opponent.
The professional boxer also saw 7 losses, out of which 5 came out by knockout.
His last fight was in November 2024, against Jake Paul, which reportedly took place at the AT&T stadium. In this fight, Tyson reportedly lost to Paul in an exhibition match.
Mayweather’s Last Fight
Meanwhile, his opponent, Mayweather, has an undefeated record of 50-0, with a total of 27 knockouts.
The professional boxer last appeared in the ring on September 15, 2015, wherein he unanimously won against Andre Berto.
While, Mayweather hasn’t appeared professionally in a ring to fight since retirement, however, he has been appearing in multiple exhibition fights, including one in 2024.
At the time, the bout shattered pay-per-view record with more than 4.4 million PPV buys and a $72 million gate.
Earlier while having a conversation with the media, Tyson revealed the reason behind saying yes against Mayweather.

As per media reports, Tyson revealed that when the organisers came to him to talk about “stepping in the ring once more against Floyd Mayweather,” the boxer thought to himself “No way this happens.”
“This fight is something neither the world nor I ever thought would or could happen,” Tyson said. “However, boxing has entered a new era of the unpredictable—and this fight is as unpredictable as it gets.
