Jean Pormanove, whose real name is Raphaël Graven, was a popular streamer who recently died during a live broadcast on Kick from his home in Contes, Alpes-Maritimes. During the stream, his viewers noticed that he had collapsed, and he was eventually found lifeless in his sleep at age 46. Viral clips captured his last moments and quickly started circulating online. Jean’s sudden death has sparked debates about the risks associated with intense live streaming schedules and the constant demand for engagement. Authorities have since opened an investigation and ordered an autopsy but have found no suspicious elements so far.

He died during a live stream alongside content creators Naruto (a.k.a. Owen “fcnarutovie” Cenazandotti) and Safine (Safine Hamadi) and reports suggest that the broadcast saw JP being humiliated and tortured for 10 days and nights which included him enduring extreme physical violence, sleep deprivation, and ingestion of toxic products.

Clips showing Naruto and others punching and kicking him as he screams, showing him getting strangled, and one of him getting hit with a paintball have gone viral after his death and during one of the livestreams just days before his death, Jean sent a text to his mother stating he felt he was being held hostage and was fed up.

Cause of death

As of now, authorities have announced that an autopsy is underway in order to determine the exact cause of Jean Pormanove’s death. So far, there has been no evidence of foul play or suspicious circumstances as of now, with preliminary reports suggesting natural causes while live streaming.
