Is the video of Donald Trump’s message on Charlie Kirk’s shooting assasination a deepfake AI video
This video speech by Donald Trump may possibly be AI generated.
Wait for the 18/19 second mark where his hands jump, but even more bizarrely the trees in the window behind him 'jump up' too 🧐 https://t.co/ieF2ThUaDX

What an absolutely disgusting speech from the Oval Office. Trump is truly incapable of uniting the American people, even in times of tragedy. Disgraceful.

Kirk’s death has left the nation in shock and deepened the national conversation about political violence, with authorities still searching for the gunman.
Netizens allege Donald Trump’s video message on Charlie Kirk is AI-generated
Just hours after Donald Trump posted his video message expressing his condolences on Charlie Kirk’s death, netizens have started alleging that it is AI-generated. According to many netizens, the 4-minute video showed an unusual glitch at the eighteenth-second mark, alongside unnatural color shifts and suspicious lip-syncing. Moreover, a visual analysis by experts also identified exaggerated mouth movements and frozen facial expressions.
Moreover, there were odd reflections on the flags in the background and the window, which are all signs typical of AI-generated or enhanced videos. Trump’s hair also seemed to exhibit a “halo” effect that is often seen in AI renditions, which further fueled doubts about the video’s authenticity. Some netizens also pointed out how the subtitles in the video showed mismatched timing, adding more suspicions. All of these technical anomalies have triggered widespread speculation and debate over the video’s origin and production methods.
While the White House is yet to officially comment on the claims, the glitches in the video and Trump’s hands seem to suggest that the video recording is AI generated.
