Is this how your loan recovery agents talk to a soldier of the Indian Armed Forces. Have you hired bankers or street gundas? This is a national insult, take action or ready to face boycott.@HDFC_Bank @AmitShah @adgpi #IndianArmy pic.twitter.com/3CsbUzXDZa

Viral audio of female bank employee misbehaving with military personnel
Just recently, a viral audio clip of a female bank employee hurling verbal abuse and derogatory remarks at a military officer has gone viral. In the clip, she is heard saying:
“You are uneducated, that’s why you have been sent to the border. If you were educated, you would be working in a reputed organisation.”
She further went on, adding:
“That’s why your children are born disabled… You are living like a beggar on loans. Do I look like your father’s servant?”
The woman further taunted the officer about his ongoing loan of ₹15–16 lakh, and mocked him for “lecturing others” while depending on credit. Unsurprisingly, her words drew instant backlash online, as netizens felt that they insulted not just one officer but the entire armed forces. The incident has since quickly spread on social media, with many netizens demanding strict action against her.
Social media users claimed that the employee in question who abused the Indian army solider works with in HDFC Mumbai and is named Anuradha Verma. However, the bank has since denied the claim.
