For the unsure, earlier, reports surfaced revealing that a tragic shooting incident occurred at a Catholic School in Minneapolis that injured at least 17 and killed two.

What Exactly Happened?

As per the media reports, the suspect who killed himself at Annunciation Catholic School, wherein he tragically opened fire, leaving injured 17 and killing two children. While, the authorities seem to be keeping the identity of the shooter under wraps, media outlets have identified the shooter as Robin Westman.

The name was revealed by columnist Karol Markowicz, citing sources. Currently a video of the shooter is making waves online, that he seemed to have shared hours before the gut-wrenching shooting

What Did the Viral Video Feature?

The viral video that surfaced online on X/Twitter, features Robin flipping through, what appears to be a manifesto. Although, as of now, the authenticity of these viral clips remains unknown.

The 2-minute 31-second viral video was shared on Instagram, by a user named @robinw1312. The viral video that so far, has garnered over 342K views, 1.1K likes, and more than 200 comments, features Robin holding what appears to be a manifesto and flipping through its pages.

Police revealed Robin was particularly obsessed with Adam Lanza, the suspect in the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

Mid-way through the video Robin stops briefly to pick up a gun before again flipping through the pages.

Authorities are still investigating the exact motive behind the attack after they discovered a disturbing manifesto linked to Robin Westman. The suspect posted a chilling 20-minute video on YouTube just hours before the attack, showing someone flipping through a red notebook filled with handwritten notes and gun schematics. The video was accompanied by maniacal laughter and smoke from a joint and also featured images of multiple firearms labelled with sinister phrases like “for the children” and “kill Donald Trump.” While police are not sure about the motive, the manifesto and video reveal a psychotic obsession with mass shooters and violent ideology.

His a now-deleted YouTube channel with videos showing guns, a manifesto in Russian and English, and a church map has since gone viral. His content displayed extreme views, including pro-Russian, pro-Trans, pro-Communist, and anti-Trump, anti-Christian and anti-Semitic messages.

For context, earlier, on Wednesday, a gunman opened the fire via a window of the Catholic Church. The tragic incident took place when the kids were attending a Mass at the time of their first week of school.

As per counts given by the authorities, the suspect was armed with a rifle, a pistol, and a shotgun and fired all three weapons at the church. The gunman, who approached the church using its window, fired multiple rounds at the Annunciation Catholic Church, targeting the kids, who were seated in the pews.

After opening fire at the kids, the suspect took his own life by shooting himself dead. According to the information given by Minneapolis police official, the two children, aged 8 and 10, were killed in the attack while 17 were injured.

The shooter identified as Robin Westman, as per media reports is aged 22 and he doesn’t have any extensive criminal record. The suspect seems to have active alone in the tragic shooting incident. An investigation in the case is ongoing.

Robin Westman is a transgender suburban Minneapolis resident who was recently named as the suspect in connection to a mass shooting. He was 23-years-old at the time of his death and had no known criminal history prior to the incident. He lived a low-profile life away from public attention. Although he has no background of violent tendencies, investigators are currently exploring personal and psychological factors that might have contributed to the attack.

Police identified the suspect’s mother, Mary Grace Westman, as an employee at the Annunciation school and while its unclear what position she held at the school, the church previously touted her five years of service in a 2021 Facebook post before her supposed retirement.
