Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s parents have finally spoken out after she was found dead after missing for one year
Celeste Rivas was a 15-year-old girl whose dead body was recently discovered in a car registered to singer D4vd after she went missing last year in April.

Celeste Rivas’ family sets up GoFundMe Page
The family of deceased teenager Celeste Rivas has launched a GoFundMe campaign to cover funeral expenses and give her a dignified farewell. A spokesperson for the family issued the page, which stated:
“As many of you know, Celeste Rivas Hernandez has been identified as the body found last week. She was a beloved daughter, sister, cousin, and friend. Her family is heartbroken and devastated by this tragic loss. They are seeking help to lay her body to rest. Any funds you are able to donate are greatly appreciated.”

Celeste Rivas’ brother Matthew had allegedly confirmed singer D4vd as her killer in a leaked chat and claimed that his sister’s other lover Gus was also murdered.
Celeste who died at the age of 14, leaves behind her parents, Mercedes and Jesus, a brother, Matthew and a half-sister, Jennifer. Her mother Mercedes has earlier revealed that Celeste had a boyfriend named David who many now believe to be age 20 singer David Burke aka D4vd after a string of pictures and videos linked the two with her dismembered body found in his Tesla rotting.

Authorities raid singer D4vd’s home
Los Angeles police on Wednesday, September 17, served a search warrant at D4vd’s Hollywood Hills residence and raided it. During the raid, police managed to seize electronics and other potential evidence as part of the ongoing investigation. The 20-year-old singer, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, is currently cooperating with law enforcement, based on official statements. Meanwhile, D4vd has seemingly canceled all of his remaining tour dates, including a scheduled performance in Seattle.
Celeste Rivas murder investigations still underway
Earlier this month, authorities discovered the dead body of a teenager named Celeste Rivas from Lake Elsinore, California, who had gone missing since April 2024. Authorities discovered her deceased body in the trunk of a Tesla at a Hollywood impound lot on September 8, 2025. After towing the vehicle following reports of a foul smell, authorities found out that the car was registered to singer D4vd.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner later identified her by her distinctive features, which included a tattoo on her right index finger that reads “Shhh…”. Celeste’s mother later recognized the detail and confirmed it, and media reports have suggested that D4vd also has the same tattoo. Investigators are still working to determine the exact cause and time of Celeste’s death, and the case still officially remains unclassified.
