Social media platforms, especially X/Twitter, and Reddit, were buzzing with a viral claim that Aamir Khan had an illegitimate son, with his ex-girlfriend, journalist and writer Jessica Hines after Bollywood actor Aamir Khan’s brother, Faissal Khan made shocking claims against him. At a press conference, Faissal claimed that Aamir had an affair with Jessica Hines while he was married to his first wife, Reena Dutta and said that Aamir and Jessica had a child, born out of wedlock.

What Did Media Reports Say?
As per media reports, earlier, Aamir Khan who was last seen in Sitaare Zameen Par movie, which was released on June 25, 2025, had an affair with a Jessica Hines, a British Journalist, and the two share a son named Jaan Harry Hines, as claimed by the actors’ brother, Faissal.
Faissal, who has cut ties with Aamir and family said, “Aamir married Reena and later divorced her. Then he had a relationship with Jessica Hines, unka illegal baccha tha, out of wedlock (he had an illegitimate child). He was living with Kiran (Rao) at that time (of this incident).”

Who is Jessica Hines?
For the curious, Hines is a British journalist and author of the book “Big B: Bollywood, Bachchan, and Me,” wherein she unravels Bollywood through Amitabh Bachchan’s perspective and stardom. According to her official LinkedIn profile, Hines is a writer, and Founder of ‘Fingerprint Content,’ and also a strategist.
The journalist and writer did her B.A. in Comparative Religion, from SOAS University of London in 1996, and later she went to pursue higher studies in MA, Film and Television from British Film Institute, which she completed in 1998.

Who is Jaan Harry Hines
Although not much is known about Jaan Harry Hines, however, media reports claim that he is the illegitimate son of Indian actor Aamir Khan and British journalist Jessica Hines. Back in 2005, it was rumored that Khan was in a live-in relationship with the writer and journalist as he cheated on his then wife Reena. A few months later, Hines got pregnant and when she allegedly informed Khan about the same, he asked her to abort the child.

To which, the journalist didn’t agree and the two went their separate ways, and Jessica gave birth to the child, a baby boy, whom she named Jaan. However, the actor refused to accept his son. Though, years later, Hines got married to a London-based businessman, William Talbot, who took care of Jaan.
As per multiple reports, Jaan currently works as a model and even posed for Vogue UK. Recently, the alleged affair and of Khan resurfaced after his brother Faissal claimed in a statement that the actor indeed had an affair with the journalist.
The alleged Instagram profile Jaan which goes by salty_exp has also surfaced which contains several glimpses of his life from his travels, friends, prom night and family time and is followed by both Jessica and William.

Recently, a social media profile which goes by the name @salty_exp, that amassed 495 followers on Instagram, is rumored to be of Jaan Harry Hines.
