Born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, on February 11, 1982, to Alison Hunter and Ian Robertson. The professional player, who currently lives in Cambridge, England, started playing snooker at the tender age of 11, at the pool club belonged to his family.
Th player began his career in Snooker at the age of 14 and emerged winner in the Australian U-18 snooker championship, and said goodbye to his study at the age of 15, when he decided to give all of his time to Snooker.
