In the midst of Jayden Spicer’s disappearance, the mother of the kid, Felicia Gross, is facing multiple charges, following authorities discovering his remains on Tuesday
For the unsure, earlier, reports surfaced revealing that 10-year-old kid, Jayden Spicer, went missing from Breathitt County, Kentucky. As per reports, Jayden was last seen at his Panbowl Branch Road’s home on Aug 5.
What Exactly Happened?
After the disappearance of Jayden, the Kentucky State Police alongside other search agencies launched a full-scale search operation. As the investigation continued, the authorities located the remains of the kid on Tuesday, August 12.
As per counts given by his family, the child’s remains were located in a heavily wooded area along Canoe Road in Jackson at around 3.00 p.m. Following the discovery of his remains, his mother, Felicia Gross, was charged by the officials and arrested.

10 year old Jayden’s mother, Felicia Gross, age 33 of Jackson, has been charged with manslaughter in the second degree, abuse of a corpse and tampering with physical evidence and falsely reporting an incident after Jayden Spicer was found buried in a remote area off Canoe Road in Breathitt County, about 19 miles, a roughly 30-minute drive away from his home.
Spicer was 5 feet, 1 inch tall with a slim build, blonde hair and blue eyes. The boy’s body was found in a shallow grave that was in a wooded area off Canoe Road.

Who is Felicia Gross?
At the time of writing this article, there isn’t much information available about the woman. However, it is reported that Jayden’s mother, age 33 Felicia Gross of Jackson, is currently facing charges of manslaughter. In addition, the woman is also facing the charges of tampering with evidence, and abuse of a corpse.
“We love Jayden and we want him safe at home please if anybody see my son Jayden Spicer please report it to the Jackson police department,” the Felicia had written last Thursday in a hand written note to the media, five days before his body was found.
“Thank you we love him very much please do the right thing call the police please pray for us and my son Jayden thank you,” the note continued.
For those wondering, Felicia Gross is currently under arrest and is in the Kentucky River Regional Jail while is waiting her hearing. As per media reports, authorities of Kentucky alongside various agencies searched for the missing boy using drones, sonar, and an extensive ‘boots on the grounds.’
Earlier, in an X post, a well-known Catholic priest from Kentucky, Father Jim Sichko offered his support to Jayden’s family. The viral post suggest that the priest is ready to “cover any funeral expenses if needed.”

What Did the Authorities Say?
As per media reports, Jayden Spicer’s body was sent for an autopsy to the Kentucky Medical Examiner’s office in Frankfort. The authorities told the media that they were earlier told that the kid went to bed but went missing the next morning.
Ever since his disappearance, authorities alongside various search crews spread themselves to the woods and hilly areas, and even used sonar underwater. Previously, Felicia Gross penned a handwritten note pleading for her son’s return and shared it with the media, as she asked the community to pray for her son.
