Earlier, social media platforms, especially YouTube, TikTok, X/Twitter, and Reddit, have been buzzing with a viral video of a woman from a dating show. The video, wherein one woman seems to be pitching herself to some potential suitors, is currently being criticized and troll by the netizens, as they are questioning the idea of dating in today’s era. But the video seem to be intentionally made it that way.
What Exactly Happened?
As aforesaid, the video of Rylie has taken over the internet by a storm as netizens are questioning the ideology behind dating in today’s world. In the viral video, Rylie can be seen introducing herself, while also revealing her hobbies. She also says that she is looking for someone she “can trust,” and someone that can be there for her.

After her introduction is over, the host takes over the mic and says if anyone would like to know more about the woman, they can step forward, however, nobody came forward and then host had to tell Rylie to sit down.
What Did Rylie Say?
While introducing herself, the woman said, “Okay, I’m, Rylie. I’m from Houston, Texas.” In addition, she added that she is down for “any good adventure,” while revealing that she “got scuba dive certified.” The 24-year-old woman furthermore revealed that she is “planning to go Australia this summer,” and that she is super excited about her plans.
Additionally, she revealed that she “just picked up skiing like two years ago. And that I love any themed party.” While mentioning all these things, Rylie also indicated that she is “looking for someone that wants to be her adventure buddy.”

The woman, who was donning a white cardigan, white t-shirt and blue jeans didn’t receive any response from those potential suitors.
Fact Check: Is Rylie’s Video Real or Fake?
The 56-second video, which has created a storm online, after garnering over 231K views, is an altered (cropped and zoomed in) video of a dating show. The viral video, which was posted by a X/twitter page named @FearBuck, is taken from a YouTube footage.
In the real footage, which is about 1 minute 49 seconds long, a curtain can be seen between the male and female contestants, meaning both the male and female participants couldn’t see each other. The girl Riley was however, indeed rejected by all the male participants with many hitting out at their approach towards a bubbly and cheerful girl filled with personality. However, she wasn’t rejected on the basis of her looks with the men unable to see her.
