Justine Lindsay biography

Justine Simone Lindsay is a transgender cheerleader who was born in North Carolina on September 19, 1992. She is an accomplished dancer, cheerleader, and podcaster who grew up in Charlotte. She started dancing through pep rallies and halftime shows, and eventually build a reputation for focus and joy among her teammates. Lindsay gained prominence after making NFL history in 2022 when she became the first openly transgender member of the Carolina Panthers’ TopCats cheerleading squad.

Justine started identifying as female when she was young and came out to her parents and family when she was 12 before transitioning at the age of 17.

Age and height

Justine Lindsay who was born on 19 September, 1992 is currently 32 years old as of 2025 and stands at a height of 5’4″ (163 cm) tall with her weighing 134 pounds.

Education

Justine Lindsay earned an associate degree from The Art Institute of Charlotte, following which she attended Johnson C. Smith University. During her time there, she performed with the Golden Bullettes dance team. Justine then graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in communications.

She went to Bruns Avenue Elementary School, Palms Middle School and Alexander Hamilton High School in Los Angeles for her schooling.

Career

Justine Lindsay is a professional cheerleader, dancer, and podcast host. She gained notoriety after becoming the NFL’s first openly transgender cheerleader back in 2022 with the Carolina Panthers. Lindsay joined the NFL after overcoming previous setbacks from failed auditions.

Off the field, Lindsay serves as the host of the “Keeping It Real with JL” podcast and uses her platform to advocate for transgender rights and inspire others. Lindsay particularly looks to inspire young trans girls who are exploring their own identities.
