While making the threat, Noel made threats to plant a bomb at her competitor’s booth, following which convention attendees reported the threat to the event’s management.

Popular cosplay influencer Kendra Noel Manning, aka Kit Noel, was recently taken into custody on Sunday. The arrest came after she reportedly threatened to detonate a bomb at a rival’s booth during the San Japan Anime + Gaming Convention. It all started following a heated argument over gamer supplements on social media.
After the heated exchange between the two, security officials at the convention and police officers quickly responded as concerned attendees reported the alarming comment. Following the altercation, officials banned Manning from the convention and she is now set to face legal consequences for her actions. The arrest has unsurprisingly sent shockwaves amongst people in the cosplay and gaming community.

Charges and allegations
Following the incident, authorities have charged Manning with making a terroristic threat to impair public service, which is a third-degree felony. If convicted, Kit Noel could face up to ten years in prison. Police arrested her shortly after, and she was later released on a $35,000 bond.

She has over 115,000 followers on TikTok and about 16k followers on Instagram. Manning frequently dresses as popular comic book characters, and over the years, she has dressed as Marvel’s Wanda Maximoff and X-Men’s Kitty Pride, as well as DC’s Harley Quinn, and many more. Manning is a well-known figure in the cosplay community, and on the day of the incident and arrest, she was dressed as Raven from Teen Titans and had plans to appear as Harley Quinn later in the convention.
