Earlier, reports surfaced revealing that the Bhojpuri actress, who rose to fame after appearing in Haryanvi songs and music videos, Anjali Raghav, has left the Bhojpuri industry after a fellow actor Pawan Singh touched her inappropriately during a public event that occurred in Lucknow.

As per reports, Anjali Raghav and Pawan Singh were earlier in Lucknow promoting their recently released song titled “Saiya Seva Kare,” a Bhojpuri song that was released three days ago and so far, has received 4.9 million views, 221K likes, and approximately 21,775 comments.
A video of the incident, wherein the 39-year-old actor cum politician was seen touching the actress’ waist repeatedly has now gone viral, sparking widespread debate and fury amongst fans. Meanwhile, ever since the video surfaced online, Anjali Singh has been receiving messages as to why she was silent on the stage even after being harassed.

What Did Anjali Raghav Say?
In her video, the actress can be heard saying, “I have been worried for ghd last two days,” while adding she had been receiving DMs questioning why didn’t she take any action, or why didn’t she slap Pawan. While conversing about the entire moment, she revealed that Pawan told her that there was something stuck on her waist, and she though it might be a tag of her new saree, and she laughed it off, as she thought it can be adjusted later.
While continuing, she told her fans, “I will not work in the Bhojpuri industry anymore. As an artist, I do feel like trying new things, but I am happy with my family and my work in Haryana.”

Who is Anjali Raghav?
Standing at 5 feet 4 inch, Anjali Raghav, is a model and an actress. Born in New Delhi, on September 17, 1993, the model hails from Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh. Growing up, she went to the Shah Satnam Ji Girls School in Naija Khera, Haryana.
Anjali earned a graduation degree in B.A. from Maharaja Agarsen College in Yamunanagar, Haryana, and to pursue higher studies, she went to the Kurukshetra University, from where she did her MBA in 2018. She debuted via the television series Kairi – Rishta Khatta Meetha, which was broadcast in 2012.
Following the series, she appeared in a Haryanvi song titled “Gire Ye Aansu,” in 2014. In 2016, the actress was honored with the ‘Best Female Model in Haryana,’ award.
