And now one Birmingham City fan has had to suffer the same fate after his shorts were pulled down, exposing his genitals to the entire crowd as he celebrated his team’s 2-1 against Blackburn Rovers. While the identity of the fan isn’t known, video of the incident has since gone viral.

The game, which ended with Birmingham victory by 1-2, saw the Blues scoring twice in stoppage time, as they recorded their first league victory of the season.

Blackburn Rovers vs Birmingham City Match Recap

For the unsure, 29-year-old Australian striker, Lyndon Dykes struck from close range 8-minutes into stoppage time, sealing the visitors’ very first league victory of the season after stepping up from League One last year.

This victory brought a dramatic ending to the clash, after just moments earlier, English footballer Jay Stansfield had equalised for the Blues with a last-minute penalty in normal time.

Earlier, Todd Cantwell’s sharp volley had put Blackburn ahead soon after the break, but on the very day Rovers marked their 150th anniversary, Blues fought back to spoil the celebrations.

Backed by more than 7,000 travelling supporters, the Blues began on the front foot and carved out the first opening after just five minutes as Alex Cochrane’s low strike forced Balazs Toth into an early save.

That, however, proved to be the only real chance of a first half that offered little in the way of clear opportunities, despite Blues controlling much of the possession.

Recap of the Second Half

At the break, Chris Davies made his first change, sending on Ethan Laird in place of Cochrane, but it was Rovers who struck first just 5 minutes into the 2nd-half. A loose clearance in the Blues box fell kindly for Cantwell, who rifled a crisp right-foot volley into the bottom corner.

This setback seemingly sparked a smooth sail for Blues, as they began to dominate the attacking play, pushing Rovers deeper.

While pressing Rovers, Blues kept their persistence, which eventually paid off as the game edged into the final minute of normal time, when they finally claimed a deserved equalizer.

Ethan Laird then came on as substitute, who lit the spark. Bursting down the left, he dribbled past two men with sheer determination before being bundled over inside the box. Meanwhile, Stansfield stepped forward, calm under the weight of it all, and tucked the ball home from 12-yards, right in front of the roaring sea of travelling Blues.

Then 11-minutes were added on either for a heartbreak or history. In the 96th minute of the game, Rovers came within a breath of stealing it, as Lewis Miller’s long throw found Makhtar Gueye.

Just 2-minutes later, the script flipped, as Blues broke with fire. Laird again, relentless, winning a loose ball deep in his own half before being brought down. But Tomoki Iwata saw the picture unfold, threading the ball into space on the right.

Demarai Gray was already flying forward, and he whipped the ball across the face of goal, and there was Lyndon Dykes, waiting, ready, and when the final whistle blew, it resulted in Blues’ first league win of the campaign.
