What Exactly Happened?
On Saturday, when viewers turned on the NBC Network to enjoy the live baseball match between The Athletics and Texas Rangers, they were met with an abrupt pause, as the channel network cut off the cameras mid-way after they accidentally revealed a saucy act being done by a couple sitting in the stands.
The video showed a man donning a baseball cap and sunglasses fondling his partner’s chest despite the unidentified couple being well aware that they were on the jumbotron. “For the folks at home, I will apologise,” said the commentator.
“You are a handful, Chris,” was said on the broadcast shortly after, referring to A’s play-by-play announcer Chris Caray.
The viral incident took place during the top of the fifth inning.
The video of the incident has now taken over the internet, sparking widespread debate online, with fans questioning the behavior. Meanwhile, many compared the incident with Coldplay’s recent Kiss-cam moment, wherein they accidentally featured a former CEO of Astronomer’s alleged affair with one of his fellow colleagues.

Speaking about the game, the Texas Rangers emerged victorious against the A’s 9-6, and swept up the three-game series. During the last 5 starts, DeGrom, Texas’ only All-Star, finally snapped a rough stretch after going 0-4, a run that even saw him skipped once due to shoulder fatigue.
However, the Rangers backed him early, as Josh Smith walked in, and after Langford struck out, Joc Pederson blasted a 3-2 pitch from J.T. Ginn over the right-field wall for 2-0.
Josh Jung homered in the second, doubled in the ninth to score García, and Smith kept the momentum rolling with an RBI double in the 5th. Pederson followed with another double, Langford drew a bases-loaded walk, and Helman’s RBI single made it 7-0.
The A’s, swept 9-times already, fell again, while Texas Rangers finally claimed its first road sweep of the season against the Athletics.
