What Did the Viral Video Feature?
Officers received complaints of the two fighting and in the one-hour and 12-minute-long bodycam footage, the female officer can be heard talking to the rapper and her brother, along with other officers. She remarked that the two started fighting because the rapper’s brother told her she had HIV.
The viral bodycam footage of the “Secret,” singer features her being arrested for an argument. Additionally, the viral clip also features an officer, who can be heard saying that the musician has HIV.
The video began with an officer confronting Ann Marie at the door of her brother’s residence. The official can be seen asking the singer why she was arguing with him. As the officer questions Marie and her brother about why the two were arguing, the singer instantly defended herself as she said she was trying to stop her brother.
In the viral video, the police official can be heard saying, “Y’all don’t even know the reason why you shouldn’t be fighting.” To which, the singer says, “I didn’t fight.” As the argument escalates, the officer escorted the singer out of the apartment building and into the police van.
The police official allegedly can be heard saying, “You dirty, stood in the dark, so you got HIV,” while describing the argument.
As the video went viral and many claimed that Ann really had HIV the rapper took to Instagram to deny the claims.
