As investigations around the death of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez go deeper, authorities have found incriminating 2022 Discord chats between D4vd and Celeste along with pictures of the two together online.
Authorities had discovered the dead body of Celeste inside singer-songwriter D4vd’s abandoned Tesla.

The Discord chats revealed a possible relationship between Celeste and D4vd—real name David Anthony Burke—that began when Celeste was just 11 years old.
Authorities have identified the body found in age 20 David’s car as teenager Celeste Rivas Hernandez, who vanished from Lake Elsinore in California in April 2024, aged 13.
D4vd and the teen victim had matching ‘Shhh…’ tattoos on their right index fingers and Hernandez’s mother also said her daughter had been dating someone called David.
A song called ‘Celeste’ posted on Soundcloud and credited to D4vd was leaked in 2023, which many believe was for his girlfriend Celeste with the lyrics of his Romantic Homicide song also talking about him killing for his love.
Celeste was last seen in the Lake Elsinore region of California with her missing for more than a year.

Authorities discover 2022 Discord chats between D4vd and Celeste
Investigators recently confirmed that the dead body found in D4vd’s abandoned Tesla belonged to Celeste Rivas Hernandez. As the case drew national attention, netizens started posting Discord logs linking the artist to Celeste. In an October 2022 screenshot, d4vd typed:

Celeste Rivas Hernandez death case
A young teenager named Celeste Rivas Hernandez disappeared back in April 2024, when she was just 13. On September 8, 2025, authorities found her decomposed body inside d4vd’s Tesla after reports of a foul odor. After identifying her body, her mother later revealed that Celeste mentioned having a boyfriend named “David.” She also mentioned the pair having matching tattoos of the word “Shhh.” As of now, the coroner has refrained from sharing the official cause of death pending further tests. Despite this, the connection between the musician and the teenager is now under intense scrutiny, and while authorities have not charged D4vd with anything, he is cooperating with investigators, according to his legal team.
