CAFA Nations Cup 2025

The CAFA Nations Cup is a tournament founded in 2018, and serves as Central Asia’s premier international men’s football championship. The inaugural tournament first took place in 2023, where Iran emerged as the first champions and Uzbekistan finished as runners-up. For the 2025 edition, the tournament will expand to eight teams, including India and Oman as guest invitees.

Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are the hosts this year, and the teams are split into two groups of four teams each. The top two teams from each group will then compete for the trophy, while the runners-up will contest for the third-place playoff. India will be making its debut this year and replaces Malaysia, who withdrew due to logistical issues.
