Aliyev Tofig is a young and upcoming professional gymnast who was born on November 29, 2004, in Azerbaijan. Tofig grew up with a passion for gymnastics from a young age and trained under the guidance of his coaches, Huseynzada Adil and Aliyev Rahib. He started out competing internationally at a young age, representing the Specialized Children-Youth Gymnastics School of Olympic Reserves. Aliyev Tofig is currently just 20 years old but has already cemented his place on the international stage as an elite gymnast.

Besides his athletic training, Tofig has also pursued academic qualifications and holds the degree of Candidate for Master of Sports.

Aliyev Tofig gained prominence in 2017 after dominating several youth tournaments, including first-place finishes at the Ukrainian Championships in Kyiv and the Azerbaijan Championships. During that year, he also secured several podium finishes in international competitions held across Russia. By 2021, Aliyev had established himself as a top contender on the European stage, winning a bronze medal in the team competition during the European Championships in Sochi, Russia.

He eventually attained his professional breakthrough in 2022, when he earned multiple medals across international and national events. These included a silver at the Azerbaijan Championship, bronze in the European Championships in Rimini, and a silver in tumbling at the World Age Group Competitions in Sofia. The following year, in 2023, he reached the pinnacle of his career after winning a gold medal in the team competition at the World Championships in Birmingham. Later that year, Tofig also took a silver at both the Wawel International Tournament in Poland and the World Cup in Palm Beach, USA. Tofig has now made history after performing the world’s first “full-full-full” at the World Games in China.
