Lauryn Licari is a teenager who was the victim of a cyberbullying incident alongside her then-boyfriend Owen McKenney that took place back in 2020. Lauryn, who was just 13-years-old at that time, started receiving abusive and threatening texts from an anonymous number. After years of trauma and investigation, the shocking truth behind the sender’s identity came out when it was revealed that the messages were sent by Lauryn’s own mother, Kendra Licari.
According to reports, police investigations involvingboth families lasted for two years. Kendra’s full confession was caught on a police body camera, and it revealed a dark motive linked to her own traumatic childhood and fears of losing her daughter. Lauryn Licari was born to parents Kendra Licari and Shawn Licari, and their entire family has suffered immense strain due to the cyberbullying incident carried out by her own mom. Her boyfriend Owen McKenney had broken up with her in the aftermath of the incident. Owen and Lauryn had first started dating in the fall of their seventh grade when they were aged 13.

Lauryn Licari was a middle school student during the start of the cyberbullying ordeal and although the exact details about her education remain publicly undisclosed, she is now focused on moving forward and continuing her education.
