About the Asia Cup Hockey 2025
The Asia Cup Hockey 2025, is the 12th edition of the continental championship, and features a total of 8 teams. For this year’s competition, Pakistan withdrew citing reasons of security and financial conditions, and were subsequently replaced by Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, Oman also pulled out from the tournament citing financial issues as a reason, and were replaced by Kazakhstan. The event serves as the qualifier stage for the Hockey World Cup 2026, which is set to be held in Belgium and Netherlands.
