Arsenal starlet Max Dowman recently made history on August 23, 2025, after coming off the bench in the 64th minute against Leeds, replacing Noni Madueke. The youngster, who is just 15 years and 235 days old, became the second youngest player to appear in the Premier League, behind teammate Ethan Nwaneri. Dowman showed remarkable composure during his debut for his age, almost scoring with a curling shot just over the bar. The youngster even won a stoppage-time penalty that sealed Arsenal’s 5–0 win. Max Robert Dowman is a young and upcoming teenage football star who was born on December 31, 2009, in Chelmsford, Essex, England to Robert Dowman while his mother’s name is unknown. He started out his football journey with Billericay Town youth just before joining Arsenal’s academy in 2015. During his time there, he progressed rapidly through the youth ranks and debuted for their U18 team at age 13.
By September 2024, Max scored in the UEFA Youth League against Atalanta and became the competition’s youngest-ever goal scorer. He soon became the youngest Premier League 2 player in December 2024, and went on to make his first team pre-season debut against AC Milan in July 2025.
