Earlier, reports emerged indicating that Josh Saunders, who is widely known by the name KingCobraJFS, passed away earlier at his home in Casper, Wyoming. The tragic news was confirmed by the musician’s father.

As per a statement given by his father Clint, the YouTuber died in his sleep. Although, as of now, the exact cause of his death isn’t known, however, it is expected to be organ failure which could be alluded due to his heavy alcohol consumption. Meanwhile, various reports quote local police remarking that the YouTuber was discovered “blue at the lips.”
“I got on today to delete all of his social media… because ‘f**k you’ is how I’m feeling. But I realized that would not be fair to his fans, and it’s certainly nothing he would want. As you all know, Josh was harassed and bullied terribly his whole life. From the time he was 3, it was just nonstop. It was like he had a neon sign that said ‘Please pick on me’,” Clint had said in a video talking about his son’s death.
His father, Clint Saunders had found him unresponsive. Joshua had earlier posted a video complaining about his ill health.
“I feel like sh*t, Facebook. It hurts to lay down, I’ve been up all night, puking… Oh, man, I feel like sh*t. I’m sweaty, I’m clammy, I feel like sh*t. I’ve been up all night, puking and using the bathroom, but I will push through this. It hurts to breathe… my stomach hurts,” he had said in the video.

Who was Josh Saunders?
Born and raised in Casper, Wyoming, Josh Saunders aka KingCobraJFS, who was a cult YouTube personality, began sharing videos online in 2011. The content creator, who openly battled through Asperger’s syndrome, and stayed open with his fans and followers garnered both admirers and critics.
Saunders, a content creator, whose content revolved around drink experiments, unique rants, handmade wands, and guitar playing, had garnered a loyal fanbase, while suffering constant health struggles and trolling. Looking at his social media presence, Josh Saunders had amassed a dedicated following of 120,000 subscribers on YouTube.
The internet personality suffered all his life from bullying and alcohol addiction, that worsened due to online harassment. On August 22, 2025, the YouTuber was found unresponsive in his home. Earlier, in a statement, his father recounted that “Josh was harassed terribly his whole life,” while adding that mistreatment towards him begin as early as when he was still 3-years-old.
While he was previously dating Jessica, the two had broken up in 2024.
