A Liverpool fan got exposed in Anfield as a fellow supporter decided to pull his shorts down during wild celebrations

However, one fan got way more than his money’s worth as so did a steward. Amidst wild celebrations inside the stadium, one fan who was celebrating close to the touchline while standing had his shorts pulled down by a fellow supporter to see him flash the steward right infront of him with video of the incident now viral. While the fan has had himself exposed to the world now, his identity is yet unknown.

However, he wasn’t the only fan who made news during the fixture. Remember the racial abuse that the English footballer, Antoine Semenyo received during Friday’s match between Liverpool vs Bournemouth? Now, there is a new update in the matter!

For the unsure, earlier, during Friday’s game between Liverpool vs Bournemouth, the 25-year-old forward received racial abuse during the first-half of the game, due to which the referee had to pause the game.

After the referee halted the game for approximately four minutes to inform the captains of both teams, that is, Liverpool and Bournemouth, the officials ejected a fan, who is suspected to have abused the English player.

A video of the incident went viral across social media platforms, as many condemned the act of football fan, meanwhile the Premier League stated that they will launch a full-scale investigation in the matter. Now, there is a new update in the case.

What’s the New Update?

As per the counts given by the Merseyside police officials, they apprehended a 47-year-old man from Liverpool on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence. In addition, they revealed that he has been arrested and is awaiting further investigation.

After the professional footballer learned that the authorities had arrested the man behind the racial abuse during his match against Liverpool, wherein Liverpool won the game 4-2, he took to his Instagram account, which goes by the name @antoinesemenyo42 and has garnered 213K followers, and extended his thanks to everyone.

Taking to the reel-sharing platform, the footballer penned, “Last night at Anfield will stay with me forever – not because of one person’s words, but because of how the entire football family stood together.”

Additionally, the post read, “To my @afcb team-mates who supported me in that moment, to the @liverpoolfc players and fans who showed their true character, to the @premierleague officials who handled it professionally – thank you.”

Let us remind you, before the game ended, the Ghanaian national pulled his team level, while scoring two goals in the second half, before their opponent bagged the victory.

Following Friday’s night game, the professional player revealed more racial abuse that he had received online on Instagram, prompting Meta to reply that they will launch an investigation in the case and will take strict action towards any such comment or profile.
