The fake AI video of Archita Phukan is still trending on social media platforms
Earlier, an Instagram model Babydoll Archi aka Archita Phukan made waves online, with her bold pictures and videos. The videos and images of the internet personality gained a lot of traction and her Instagram profile garnered as much as over 1 million followers.
However, later, it was revealed that the woman, who everyone thought to be a model turned out to be but morphed pictures of a woman, Archita Phukan, who hails from Dibrugarh.

The fake-account of Archita Phukan, had garnered over 1.4 million followers within a few days of its creation, after the owner of the account shared a post of Babydoll Archi with adult star Kendra Lust. However, eagle-eyed followers instantly realized that the pictures of Archita Phukan were AI-generated, as they realized the poses of Phukan in these viral images were same as those of many other influencers, leading to everyone thinking that the model is AI-generated.
Later, reports surfaced revealing that the account was indeed fake and that the model is AI-generated, as the face of the model belongs to a woman named Archita Phukan, who lives in Dibrugarh.

Furthermore, reports surfaced suggesting that the authorities in Dibrugarh arrested a man behind the account, who was identified as the ex-boyfriend of Babydoll Archi, and he used multiple AI-tools to morph Phukan’s images to take revenge on her, while she was unaware of her identity being misused for the profit.
As per the authorities of Dibrugarh, the woman herself has no involvement in the circulation of her images under the alias Archita Phukan. The authorities of the Dibrugarh arrested and identified her ex-boyfriend as Pritam Bora.
What Did the Dibrugarh Police Say?
The Dibrugarh authorities revealed that Pritam Bora orchestrated the entire plan to humiliate and destroy her image after their relationship ended. As per media citing, Bora uploaded manipulated images and indecent content falsely and linked it with Archita Phukan as an adult star.
He went as far as to claim that the woman lives in U.S., and works for the Playboy magazine. He managed to earn Rs. 3 lakh within just five days and Rs. 10 lakh in total. Currently, he is facing serious charges under IIT Act, and IPC sections related to identity theft and cybercrime.
